Beyond work, my background is in physical education and coaching. I was a track athlete and a coach in Fargo for 15 years, and I take pride in my track achievements, including a place in the MSUM Hall of Fame in 1992.
In my personal life, I've enjoyed a fulfilling marriage to Terry for over 42 years. Terry is in the ATM business, and we've raised a son, Garrett, an imaginative comic book artist and waiter in Minneapolis. Together, we love to travel and host gatherings in our beautiful backyard. My husband loves to garden and we have a lovely yard with lots of flowers. He says weeding is his relaxation!
Volunteering is another significant part of our lives, including mission trips, hosting missionaries, and leading various small groups. However, my true passion lies in serving my clients with honesty, ethics, and wisdom, helping them fulfill their real estate dreams. It is a great blessing to me to have their trust, and I truly appreciate the opportunity to help anyone looking to move!
My expertise spans multiple areas, from guiding first-time homebuyers to assisting relocation transferees, working with move-up buyers, and navigating VA buyers through the process. I also specialize in utilizing Down Payment Assistance Programs, preparing homes for sale, pricing homes, and employing savvy negotiation skills, backed by 38 years of invaluable experience.
My credentials include being a full-time REALTOR® with PARK CO., REALTORS® since 1985, earning the esteemed Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation, completing 30 hours of continuing education to earn the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, and holding various other specialized certification including Certified Relocation Inventory Specialist, Certified Marketing Assistance Specialist, Certified Destination Specialist, F-M Area Association of REALTORS® (FMAAR) Member, and Bachelor of Science degree from Minnesota State University of Moorhead.
